Guest Creative Team member Louise Nelson has put a great spin on the technique of masking.
Whilst masks are fabulous for just that; masking, they are also fabulous as 'stamps'.
To achieve this it is just 3 simple and easy steps......
1. Place your mask on a protective background and spray with desired mist, ensuring you cover the mask itself completely with mist.
2. Gently and slowly lift up the mask, ensuring no mist runs off, and flip over onto cardstock background.
Leave the mask on the cardstock for about a minute and then gently peel off.
3. Allow to dry and then complete your layout as desired.
What you are left with is a 'stamp' like image from the mask that can be used to create a layout background pattern or background to frame your photo.
For this particular mask I coordinated my embellishments to the pattern of the mask.
Thanks for a great tutorial Lou and for putting such an inspirational spin on "masking"
HAPPY CREATING EVERYONE
